Rich is the Chief Investment Officer at Wellspring, joining the firm in 2014. He has nearly 40 years of experience in the investment industry and brings a strong expertise in multiple asset classes.

Prior to Wellspring, Rich was the Director of Equity and Fixed Income Research at Victory Capital Management. He was also a Portfolio Manager at Duff & Phelps Investment Management Co. and began his career with the audit staff of Ernst & Young.

Rich earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the University of Notre Dame, his MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, and his Master of Science in Financial Services from The American College of Financial Services. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designations. Rich is also an inactive Certified Public Accountant.

Rich is actively involved in the community, serving on the Estate Planning Council for the Cleveland Metroparks and on the Board of Trustees for Ursuline College. He also supports several causes including the West Side Catholic Center, Catholic Relief Services, and the Alzheimer’s Society.
