A’Shira is the Tax Manager at Wellspring, joining the firm in 2022. She is responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of the Tax Department in addition to tax research and forward-looking planning.

Prior to joining Wellspring, A’Shira spent 10 years between public accounting and wealth management. Most recently, A’Shira worked for Apple Growth Partners as a Tax Manager.

A’Shira earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The University of Akron. She is a Certified Public Accountant and serves on the Board of Directors for The Ohio Society of CPAs.

A’Shira is actively involved in her community, serving as a Mentor for College Now Greater Cleveland and as Treasurer for Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. A’Shira has received several awards and recognitions for career and community service accomplishments including being named a 2024 Women of Achievement Award honoree by YWCA Greater Cleveland and a 2023-2024 Power of Change honoree by The Ohio Society of CPAs (OSPCA). She was also featured in Crain’s Cleveland Business 40 Under Forty list in 2020.
